The Addiction Action Campaign is proud and grateful to be associated with these fine celebrities. Our goal in our Celebrity Champions initiative is to accomplish for addiction what Michael Jackson and Elizabeth Taylor did for HIV/AIDS. They were the first to put their good names behind the cause to draw attention to it.

Soon others followed and the issue is now being addressed and financed worldwide by governments because of that initial press conference which they held. We have great hopes for our Celebrity Champions initiative and believe that as we attract and add more to our prestigious list, the awareness of the epidemic in South Africa will grow and we will be able to accomplish our goals for the AAC.
