Al-Anon is in existence for almost 55 years as a community resource. It is a separate fellowship from Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), however the Al-Anon recovery programme is based on the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions adapted from AA. Like AA, Al-Anon is an Anonymous Fellowship. Al-Anon Family Groups have only one requirement for membership: that you be affected by someone else’s drinking. |
