The AAC plan

Phase 1: Research and action

 

To raise finance for the following research objectives:

 

· Objective 1           -         The employment of key personnel who would be responsible for the day-to-day management of the organization and meeting all the objectives within the plan.

 

· Objective 2     -    To contract or cause to contract the services of a reputable research company in providing the latest statistics of the use of alcohol and other drugs including cigarettes, illegal and over the counter drugs for the purpose of relevant information at hand for the use of any interested parties.

 

· Objective 3           -         To consult with existing international organizations which exist to achieve similar objectives of the AAC by visiting, studying and collecting all historical information which could assist and improve the rehabilitation systems in South Africa but also to ascertain the necessity of this organization.

 

· Objective 4           -         To create an effective and objective education program to assist schools, community forums and all other bodies wishing to provide education or become educated about addiction and illegal drugs.

 

· Objective 5           -          To create or assist in creating an effective modern method of treatment unique to the South African environment.

 

· Objective 6           -         The provision of a self sustaining business model for the continuous and endless existence of the AAC through using existing or creating new business models of treatment by investing in them and thereby creating a regular income stream for the organization.

 

· Objective 7           -         The planning and execution of national awareness campaigns of the organization.

 

· Objective 8           -         The employment of a national spokesperson who would be responsible for public relations and liaison with government, police, the criminal justice system, public as well as press.

 

Phase 2: Creating a self sustaining model treatment centre

 

To raise finance for the following Phase 2 objectives:

 

· Objective 1           -         The creation of a treatment centre which will be used as a model for treatment on a national scale.

 

· Objective 2           -         The employment of key staff such as, but not limited to; psychologists, counselors, nursing and administration personnel.

 

· Objective 3           -         The purchase of all equipment including, but not limited to; vehicles, furniture, medical equipment etc.

 

· Objective 4           -         The creation of an effective marketing plan for the treatment centre.

 

· Objective 5           -         The effective management of the creation process of the centre for use on a national scale.

 

· Objective 6           -         To employ permanent staff for a national education program using but not limited to education systems and the media.

 

 

Phase 3: Creating self sustaining treatment centres nationally

 

To raise finance for the following Phase 3 objectives:

 

· Objective 1           -         To identify key cities or areas within which to build self-sustaining treatment centres.

 

· Objective 2           -         The employment of key staff such as, but not limited to; psychologists, counselors, nursing and administration personnel for each clinic.

 

· Objective 3           -         The purchase of all equipment including, but not limited to; vehicles, furniture, medical equipment etc. for each clinic
